A thing I will never understand, how Joe Biden’s campaign has managed to stay alive and start winning after this.

Maybe it’s just me, but that’s just as bad as when Rick Perry forgot which... you know... the thing!

Something else that irratates me about the whole “only Biden can beat Trump!” thing, is that.

1. Biden’s already ran for President twice, and in those had to drop out early for saying !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and this was before he was 70+ years old.

2. Trump started his political career shitting on Obama, and for some reason people think Obama’s now senile VP is the guy who can beat him.

3. The Democrats already tried running a moderate against Trump in 2016, and how did that fucking go?

I swear, I’m starting to think the Democrat s want Trump to win, because it’s easier to criticize him than to actually have the responsibility of being in charge.

That’s the thing I don’t understand, he’s clearly loosing it and pretty much has the same policies and ideas that Hilary lost with in 2016. It’s like they say, “Insanity is the doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.”

I think the point about 2016 is hard to argue, because after almost 4 years of insanity and generally being embarrassed across the globe by our current president, people are ready for some “moderate.”

I also think he can stay out of the mud better than Bernie. As much as I’d love to see Bernie take on Trump in a debate because they’d both turn red in the face and maybe start throwing shit at each other, uhh, that’s not going to be productive. You know what they say, never wrestle with a pig because you’ll just get covered in shit, and even worse, the pig will enjoy it. I hope Biden can just blow off the constant attacks and stick to talking about policies, dignity, respect for others, and exercising some restraint. TAKE THE HIGH ROAD!

I think Trump having 4 years is a double edged sword, sure some people are gonna want him gone more, but at the same time the media promised fire and brimstone if he was elected. I think there’s gonna be a significant block of voters who figure the economy is doing good and least he tried to do something about trade and getting us out of Syria, things could’ve been a lot worse, so why risk it on a guy who forgets where he is and what time period he’s in?

Americans don’t vote on policies, they vote on charisma. And their pocket book. Warren made the mistake of laying out a detailed platform instead of vague promises of “Change” and “Hope” and “a thousand points of light” or “a chicken in every pot” ....

It’s sad that the small group of swing voters- basically people that don’t pay enough attention to politics to have an opinion- get to choose the president. So like 10,0 00 people in Ohio that don’t know anything about government choose the most powerful person in the world. Brilliant. They’re probably all Browns fans too, so I guess they deserve a break.

I wouldn’t say policy doesn’t matter at all, but I think it doesn’t help to get too far into details during a campaign, because the likely hood the plan is still going to look like that by the time it passes through the H ouse and the S enate is basically zero. I think were Warren fucked up was backing down from straight up medicare for all so soon. If she would’ve stuck to it through the campaign, then once elected proposed something like her transition plan as a compromise , I don’t think many people would’ve faulted her for it.

I guess you could say it’s kind of like a negotiation, you don’t start off at the highest price you’re willing to pay, because it’s only going to get worse from there, not better.
